What is the best approach to covert UDP profiles to hardware devices? short of exporting the UDPs and plug them into the BAT sheet? Do you know of any third party tools that can do this?

Show and Share Thumbnails do not display properly. I created a new DNS entry name (utube.domain.com) in our DNS pointing to the same IP address of the Show and Share server. Using the new DNS name in the URL, web page display broken thumbnails (everything else works fine including clicking on thumbnail). http://utube.domain.com:8080 If I use the original servername in the URL, thumbnails display properly. http://ent-sns-dms1-1155-nyc.domain.com:8080 We want to use a new name so users can easily remember the SNS site, instead of the actual server name (which follows the enterprise standard naming convention, which we all know, often are long and not easy to remember). Someone said to me the only way to do this is to rename the SNS server's hostname to the new name we want to use.

Tried to move user from Unity 4.0.4 to Unity 7.0.2. User move was fine, no errors, except that the PIN did not carry over. Greetings, recorded name, etc were fine.

I don't know if you want to do that for the entire system. But try this: To do it on just that phone, create a new Voicemail Profile and in the profile, enter the extension of the second phone. Then assign that VM profile to the extension of the second phone. So when the call from the first phone, hits the second phone, voicemail profile will set the target vmbox of the second phone.

You can just modify the 7970 device profile in the DEFAULT DEVICE PROFILE menu to have more than 2 lines. Or you can add a new default device profile for 7970 if it doesn't exist there.

I get this error: The system is currently locked by another process when I go to some menus. Will a restart of Tomcat fix this? And will restarting Tomcat impact anything other than web access to UC 2.X?

Chad, Thanks for sharing your perl script. I was able to run both the xlation and addroutepattern and modified some parameters. Worked like a charm. If I want to run an addroutelist using your perl script, how would I know which fields I need to use and build? I tried going to the schema in the plugins for CM but a little bit confusing. Quick Question: For the Unity failover server name restriction to have the first 14 characters unique, do I only need to make sure the character at position X is unique? Server Name 1: 123456789 Server Name2: 0123456789 Will this work? Or do I have to really make the characters within the first 14 exclusively unique?

Hey Shahedvoicerite. I am able to get the GXP2000 to work but I have 2 issues 1. I can add and get the second line to work but in callmanager, phone says partial registered. Second line works fine. YOu can get call in and out. 2. If I enabled digest authentication, I couldn't get it to work. THe CCM traces say it couldn't decrypt the password but I couldn't see any SIP password encryption setting on the GXP2000. ANy help is always appreciated. Thanks.

I have a CME ver 4.1 on a 2811. I also have a 7920 wireless with 2 FXO PSTN connections. With 7920 phone load cmterm_7920.4.0-02-00.bin, the hook flash appears but hangs when it receives a call. We upgraded to cmterm_7920.4.0-03-00.bin but the hook flash softkey does not appear but it solves the hanging issue. So it solves an issue but breaks another. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
