This also depends on the trunking protocol or rather the frame formats. With ISL you have a limit of 1024 and with 802.1Q your limit is 4096.HTHBjörn

Thank you for the link. http://www.subnetonline.com/subcalc/subnet6.html is not exactly what I mean. I want to enter any network range and the tool outputs the correct subnets (e.g. for routing entries)
