Hi, I was wondering if there was a way I use Prime to look at the downtime of a switchport?. It would be useful to find out how long it has been since the switchport was up so we can determine whether to shut down the port or not ? is it possible do you know? Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a way to export the ISO .bin files that are in Cisco Prime software repository? At the moment from what I can see you can only distribute the .bin files to the switches through Prime.

Trying to clear some space on my 3850 switch in a stack. I use Prime to roll out images but its telling me that there is insufficient space in flash, so I try to use the smart flash delete before distribution option but that also fails. I have also Putty'd onto the switch to run the software clean command but it told me there was nothing to clean. I've tried deleting some files manually but more reluctant to do this in case I manage to distribute the files onto the flash via Prime and reboot and fails. This is the message undr software clean: No unnecessary package or provisioning files found. Nothing to clean Any ideas how I can clear some space on the flash?

Can anyone tell me the steps in order to get my switches to log events into Cisco Prime, so effectively using prime as a syslog server. I want this for scenarios where I am going to distribute images to switches and want the logs to be sent to prime so in the event of something going wrong I can raise a TAC call. I can see there are options for using Prime as a syslog server but the instructions and documents i've seen on the web on this arent particularity good. Anyone else using prime as as a syslog server?

Hi, managed to sort it now. I discovered the IP address of where the packets were coming from, from using the debug command and added this IP address into my NPS radius client and connection policy. It work immediately. Thankyou for your help.

Not much to show from the debug logs other than its timing out. I just thought I would ask to see if others had an issue after upgrading to denali 16.3.6

Have an odd thing going on with our L3 routing switch when it comes to setting radius authentication up on it. On the other switches that are not L3 with Denali 16.3.6 authentication and logging into the switches via RADIUS works fine. However, this particular switch is for some reason not connecting back to the RADIUS server.
From the Switch I can:
Ping the RADIUS server - can ping the switch from the RADIUS (NPS) server
run a terminal monitor and debug radius
open another session and log in with my AD credentials. This is where it fails. The debug shows it attempting to go out to the radius server IP but then receives 3x request timed out messages.
Its not a routing issue as i'm able to ping from the switch and from the server.
Is there something I'm missing with this version of Denali? there is no difference with my configuration here to the other switches.
