VOICE SYSTEM: Cisco Systems Small Business Pro UC560-FXO-K9 V01
PHONES: Cisco CP-7975G IP Phone Gig Ethernet, Color and 8 Lines
SWITCH: CISCO SWITCH POE 24 Ports
FIREWALL: Juniper SRX650-BASE-SRE6-645AP
SIP PROVIDER: VOIP Innovations
Coming from the world of Software PBX, like FreePBX, I am relatively new to Cisco UC systems. Now most of them are EOL, dropped in price and it's a perfect time to implement it for a small business.
QUESTIONS:
1. Out of the box, it is VOICE VLAN 100 and 10.1.1.x which I would like to change. How do I do that CCA or Console? What commands needed?
2. I was recommended VOIP Innovations as a VOIP provider for incoming and outgoing calls. Any other price/quality competitive suggestions?
3. What is needed and how to set up basic SIP trunking with this VOIP provider? (after provider gives necessary info)
4. Any other advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
PS. The UC560 was reset to factory default with current config:

Cisco doesnt like you configuring these things up through cLI, so there are no comrehensive instructions on how to do that on CLI.
what country are you in, so we can suggest SIP providers?
02-11-2018 01:51 PM
I am located in US.
What are the competitive/quality SIP providers can you recommend for incoming and outgoing calls?

Can someone please provide some options on how to change US560 default subnet 10.1.1.X to for example 10.1.100.X?
What are the ways of doing that?

What are the ports recommended for inbound and outbound RTP stream in Cisco?
02-14-2018 07:27 PM
02-14-2018 07:45 PM
Specifically what are the INBOUND RTP ports?

Two ways means inbound and outbound. in order for traffic to flow we need to open ports on the firewall. As for outgoing RTP i can allow all outbound traffic or do what many people do and allow port range 6,000 - 60,000. Just like SIP we open port 5060.
so my question is what is the RTP port range allowed for inbound traffic on firewall for cisco uc560?

Speaking of SIP trunking. Where do we specify signaling IPs from the VOIP provider?
Any documents available on how to configure SIP trunking on UC560?
