Hi Asim,

Please make sure that you have qos configured for voice. For voice, it is recommended that you use LLQ. Here is a document that has sample config of LLQ.

Do the following. Whenever you get bad quality call, press ? (info button) twice on the IP phone. If you see a lot of dropped packets you likely have QoS issue. If you don't see dropped packets you might have issue with PSTN interface (PRI, R2, FXO, etc.)

Dropped packets means that your RTP packets are getting lost somewhere between the 2 endpoints. I could only see it being a qos issue if you have qos configured and the amount of VOIP rtp traffic is exceeding what you have configured in the priority queue. Otherwise, you may need to explore where the packet loss is occurring, whether it be on the WAN or LAN.
