Interfacing FXS card with PBX

Dear Sir,

I hv fxs voice card can i interface it with PBX or is it mandatory to use it with analog telephones only.

We are using VOIP over WAN.

You can either directly plug FXS to analog telephone or Co.line of PBX. But don't interface FXS with Extension line of PBX or you might damage you FXS port.

Dear Sir,

One more query ...if i replace my existing FXS with FXO card what will be my router config .. can i get sample config for the same.

I am using NM-HDV-E1 at central site and VIC-2FXS at all the remote locations.

If you r goin to change from FXS to FXO the whole scenario out there may get changed.
