What is the best practice for the amount of bandwidth to allocate for various Call Manager signaling (AF31) to WAN connected sites? We use MGCP gateways and SCCP for the phones.
The Cisco recommendation is to reserve 5% of your WAN link for call-signalling traffic. That recommendation (and many others) are stated in the 'Enterprise Quality of Service SRND 3.2' at www.cisco.com/go/srnd
