question mark in notepad and copy it to dial peer

hi all,

We have about 100 dial peers and each dial peer has 2 question marks in it (e.g 21?2?....). It is very hard to insert '?' with Ctrl+V in console. I would like to config the '?' in notepad then copy it to console. is there any way to do that.

one feasible way out here is you can copy the whole lot of config into a notepad file & remove the .txt extension from it then TFTP (copy) the same onto ur box as a startup config.

This will be ok if you are parllely setting up a new box with the other one running in production network.

coz after tftping u need to reset so that the config will be effective.

But if u have to do in the box which is in the live network do copy and paste but dont do it in a single strech which mite end up in erroring.

Just take step by step of like around some 10 or 15 peers at a time and paste on the prompt.

Coz we did face some kinda error when we copy paste the whole lot of thing onto the prompt..
