SIGTRAN Traffic Monitoring & Loading

Hi,

Which tools can be used to monitor SIGTRAN traffic and also generate SIGTRAN traffic for testing purposes.

A client would like to load an ITP box with traffic so as to see how it performs and measure KPIs.

Edward,

The Catapult MGTS would be one way to go. There are others that you can find on the web. You can also use WireShark to capture of validate but not loadtest sigtran.

One of the most elegant way for start would be to download MIBS for the IOS You're using at the moment,enable 'snmp-server' on Your ITP box,download some graphical snmp monitoring program and see what You get.

For a detailed review what You might be able to monitor,best thing would be to download the correspondent MIB and verify by Yourself.
