VoIP to ISDN PRI

Hi,

I'm trying to map a VoIP call to a specific timeslot in a ISDN PRI E1. My hardware is a 5400HPX. Does anybody know how to do this ? I'm receiving VoIP calls in the 5400HPX, and I then forward them with a dial-peer to a E1 ISDN PRI (configured with pri-group). What I want to do is to forward the call through the PRI, through a specific timeslot I can configure.

Thanks,

Marcos

Hi

I do not know the 5400HPX but i think it is also IOS based.

Check out the following link. under isdn service you will find how to change the state of certain b channels.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5207/products_command_reference_chapter09186a00801a7e98.html#wp1213513

Hope that helps

It's not possible to map calls to specific B channels. The software does not have this feature. The only way you can do this is with E1 or T1 CAS and use individual DS0 groups for each timeslot - this creates a specific voice port per timeslot.
