Is it possible to add external ATA boxes (VG202/204) to the UC500 and if so, does one fxs port count as one user

Only ATA's supported are ATA18X and SPA8000. Also, the VG224 24 port FXS gateway is supported. Configuration notes and licensing considerations, on:

Hi there,
I'm trying to decide between purchasing the VG-204 and the Linksys SPA8000.
We only need another 4 ports, so I can't buy the VG-224.
Although it may not be officially supported, I am wondering whether anyone has any more information about whether the VG-204 will work with my UC520 box, and if so, will it be able to be managed through Cisco Configuration Assistant, like the VG-224 can?
I would prefer it to using the SPA8000 which doesn't have the auto configuration.
Thanks
James

I don't believe the VG204 is supported in CCA. I am sure that it could work, but the SPA8000 has been documented and proven to work. I would use the SPA8000.
