Bad Echo Since Upgrade

Since the newest firmware upgrade, I've noticed a terrible echo on my end of my own voice through the UC320.

This echo only happens when I have my extension forwarded to an external number such as my cell phone.

Before you ask, I have been using this setup wtih the same cell phone, cell phone carrier for the past year without a single issue. I have tried to forward it to another external number and have had similar results.

It is making forwarded calls to my cell phone nearly impossible. Any help? Thanks.

Hi Ryan,

Is the external call through FXO or SIP trunk?

In addition to FXO impedance matching tool and FXO gain tool to address the audio quality issue, the latest firmware introduced 2 new tools: FXO/FXS Loopback test tool and FXO/FXO Loopback test tool. Please connect ports with RJ11 cable and test to see if it is successful.
