UC520 running uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.150-1.XA
I have a line (423) set to CFA, when the number is called it sends out the local lines number as calling party.
I have changed the calling-number to initiator and local.
intitiator causes this to happen.
Calling Party Number i = 0x2180, '7202832423'
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '3037078037'
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Redirecting Number i = 0x00008F, '423'
It is sending out the local lines number 7202832423 not the original calling number of 2084420136
setting it to local causes this to happen
Calling Party Number i = 0x2180, '72028327202832423' <-----need to be 208-422-0136
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '3037078037'
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Redirecting Number i = 0x00008F, '423' <------need to be 7202832423
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

You need to manipulate a couple of translation rules for this to work. Could you post your configuration? Don't forget to remove passwords and other confidential information.
Thanks,

Just wondering if you ever obtained a solution to your problem, and if so, could you share it.
Thanks.

In the configuration that you posted, could you try changing the translation profile of your POTS dial peers to "PSTN_CallForwarding", instead of what's currently configured?
Let me know.

rule 15 in this translation pattern was causing the issue:
voice translation-profile PROFILE_ALL_T1E1
translate calling 4
voice translation-rule 4
rule 1 /423/ /7202832423/
rule 2 /444/ /3037383444/
rule 3 /^44\([0-1]\)$/ /303738344\1/
rule 4 /445/ /3037383445/
rule 15 /.*/ /7202832423/
I was told rule 15 was causing the issue. which makes sense.
I did a clean install on another unit and did not try to get fancy, very raw and simple.
The second set is what was created and no problem with number Caller ID.
Thanks to my co-worker Andy Z. for finding the original part.
Also thanks to all the folks who replied, nice to share the fun!
