Are you referring to the CE-520?
Or the new GE/FE-300/200 series switches?
Can you give the exact model number as it will help a lot
But for now I cannot see why not, the switches do not do anything special when plugged into a UC500 system, with the exception of the devices talking to each other to ensure smooth configuration... But they should also be able to work standalone as well.
