Connecting to Remote Desktop Connection Behind a UC320W

Recently installed a UC320W on our network and can not seem to connect through any Remote Desktop Connection (Version 2.1.0). I'm pretty sure this is a simple adjustment but I am stuck. The network is very simple but below are the specs:

     Mac running Lion (10.7.3)

     UC320W (2.2.2)

     Comcast Surfboard Modem

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Matt,

Did you enable the Network Port forwarding  and enable the correct port number and target IP address?

Can you connect to the Remote desktop when you are local (Lan to Lan)?

Randy

Matt,

Here is a similar post on Remote Desktop you can review.

Randy,

I am able to connect to the Remote Desktop locally (LAN to LAN) behind my uc320w but I am not able to connect outside of the LAN (WAN to LAN).  Can you help?

Thanks Randal,

Turns out it was an issue with Remote desktop Mac version. Something strange with saving the connection settings to your keychain in Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Cleared out the saved settings, re entered the info for the saved RDP file and got it up and running.

To clarify, the issue was with connecting from within the clients network, out to a virtual machine via remote desktop connection which is why it made no sense that it was not working. Thanks for the info though.
