Default-From Email

I am trying to work with a SMTP server that uses the default-from email address as authentication.  This is for a UC540. 

I tried logging into the CUE CLI and typed the following commands:

ccn subsystem email

default-from customer25@abccomany.com

end

It took the commands without error.  When I run the show ccn subsystem email command, nothing comes up.

The UC540 is on software pack 8.1.

Is there another way to do this?

I make this change from the web and have never had a problem.  (10.1.10.1-default CUE)

Could you be more specific to what section that is in?

Here is a screen shot of the Default "From" Email Address Settings in System>Fax Settings, but you are setting up SMTP, so you will want to change System>Domain Name Settings.  Attached is a screenshot of both places on a newer system.  Same place if you have CUE 7.x.
