Hello, my question is if a analog phone is connected to the FXO port on the UC540 and the regular voice traffic is POTS will the analog phone be able to remain "live" in the event of a power failure?
Thank you, Paul

Hello Paul,
The UC500's does have a failover circut, so that you can make emergency calls if there is a power failure.
As long as you have an FXO line connected to FXO 0/1/0, and a phone connected to FXS 0/0/3. You will be able to make calls even if there is no power to the UC500. (Both the FXO and FXS lines will have a black bar over the top of the ports)
Thank you,
Darren
