Hi,
if i have a defective UC560 and need a replacement unit, how will i transfer IP licence from the old to the new system.
If my custommer migrate from a UC540 to a UC560, can i transfer IP licence from the old to the new system

You will not be able to transfer the licenses yourself. You will need to contact Cisco to have the license rehosted if the unit is being replaced.

You would need to call the Cisco Small Business Support Center to get an RMA replacement for the defective device. Once that is complete the Support Center will assist you in moving your license to the new device.
You can't migrate the license from UC500 to another without an RMA.
