How to set up UC320 to allow user to pick up another ext when it is ringing?

I'm currently on the latest firmware.

The phones are SPA504G

I would like instructions on how to to allow a user to pick up another extension if they hear it ringing.

I have tried to do this a few different ways but haven't had any luck yet.

Hi Jason;

There are a couple of ways:

(1) Standard, if no Callpickup key is programmed on line key:

- When the other phone is ringing, the user offhook and press the softkey:

• pickup, if the user knows the extension number ringing, then enter the ext number.
  
• Grpickup (group pickup) if the user does not know the extension number ringing. The system will show a list of all phones ringing, user should select.
  

Note the softkeys may be on the second page, if the case the user can get there by pressing the > on the 4-way nav button.

(2) By configuration, you can directly map a "group pickup" or "pickup" button on an idle line key of the user's phone. This is via the configuration utility.
