We have a customer who needs CallConnector license keys immediately, and we have already ordered the CallConnector license keys through Ingram Micro. We were told that it would take 2-3 weeks for the order to be processed, and we need to know how we can get the license keys immediately.

Hi John,
I have never seen it take that long at all, have you looked at another Distie to see how long they take?
Also have you used the trail yet? This is a month long and may be usefull to you if you activate it to get you through.
Cheers,
David.

Good answer, but this customer has already used the trial.
David, what distributor(s) did you use to purchase Cisco products and services?

Hi John,
Pity that would have been a quick fix, oh well it was worth a shot
Here in Australia we always worked with more than one Distie, the three main ones were:
Express data always had stock, significantly more than Ingram, but were about 3 points more expensive and that can mean quite a fair bit of money on bigger orders, Westcon was always the back-up Distie if the other two yielded bad results, Ingram though is by far the cheapest as they work on ultra skinny margins, but rarely have large quantities of stock.
However In your case this is just a license, they normaly can turn them around in under 48 hours, the only time I have seen any delay on this is when Cisco's back end systems were having troubles... Express Data would put the order through and get an electronic form of the license and e-mail it out, and then a week later we would get proper one in the mail.
Ask for an electronic version to be emailed out to you, if Ingram do not do them, then get another Cisco Distie on your books who does.
Cheers,
David.
