Hi all,
I am trying to do my own dial plan patterns because I am in Spain and there are not patterns preconfigured for Spain.
I have a SIP trunk into PSTN Connection.
The device is a C2901 configured as CUBE
For my test I want to use a custom dial plan so I check "Route using a custom dial plan" into Edit Site - Call settings tab.
I had to clean all patterns (that is a real nightmare because I need to delete one by one) and create my own patterns.
But.... that seems to be not enough.
I only have one pattern for my test, (I use 0 for outside)
09XXXXXXXX | International Calls | Route | 1 | 09XXXXXXXX -> 9XXXXXXXX | RL-All Connections (Connection Group) |
When I try to call, for example 0941519151 the call doesn't work.
I do a packet capture into BE3K and a debug ccsip into C2901 and I can't see any SIP packet of my call...
But if I use default patterns, for example dialing 0211, then the call works.
That is very frustrating because I expend a lot hours into this and I think that I am doing the patterns in the correct.
Any help?
Regards.

Spain country pack and it's dial plan is not supported on BE3K. You are trying to make it work with Open dial plan mode. Support of a new country using Open dial plan mode is not supported. That's why you do not see tools to bulk delete all patterns and other things.
There are also other things related to dial plan which may still be there. We can try to debug and make it work. But I will suggest not do that, simply because it is not a supported mechanism.
Instead you should wait till the Spain dial plan is supported.
Thanks

Then I have a big problem because the deadline for install in the costumer was last friday...
What do you think about I could use US dialplan and modify necessary patterns? That will work?

And, somebody knows when will be avaible a release with open dial plan?

David:
Answering questions from both posts above:
1) As it exists currently, you can not do initial install with US dialplan, blow out all the configuration and reconfigure it for some other non-supported country dial plan. Somethings may work, but others would not. And it is not a supported configuration.
2) Open dial plan is available with 8.6.4. It allows one to add, delete, modify additional route/translation patterns for supported countries. It does not allow one to support dial plan for an unsupported country.
How did you learn that Spain is a supported country?
Thanks

Thanks for your answer Sanjay.
My pre-sales team went to a seminar (in Spain) where people from cisco showed him BE3000.
