SPA232D is declared to be DECT base station. Unfortunately, I found no information about exact DECT profile implemented in SPA232D.
The question is obvious. Is it a proprietary profile DECT base station, so the SPA302D is the only terminal that can be used with it ? Or is it standard DECT/GAP (Generic Access Profile, ETSI EN 300 344) base station, so third party DECT/GAP terminals can be used with it ? Or is it a DECT/GAP base station with some proprietary extension, so third party DECT/GAP terminals can be used, but some features will not be available ? What features will be available for DECT/GAP terminal in such case ?
Well, the basic question is simple - any experience with using a third-party DECT receiver with SPA232D ?
Thank you

Hello Dan,
The Cisco SPA232D Mulit-Line DECT ATA is developed exclusively to use only the Cisco SPA302D Multi-Line DECT Handset.
Although the development of the SPA232D has followed the DECT/GAP specifications and it may be theoretically possible to register to a SPA232D, we do not claim interoperability and therefore do not support any third-party DECT devices.

Not happy to hear it, but thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I'm seeking for GAP compliant, not GAP like device.
