SPA400 do not detect french CallerID

Hi,

I am using a SPA400 on France Telecom PSTN line.

But it gets only from ~ each second incoming call the CID.

Before I used a SPA3102 without any problem.

I tried to use the same values of the SPA3102 in the SPA400.

But in the SPA400 I do not have the same values, which I need to setup correctly the CID detection.

Here the values which works fine with a  SPA3102 in France :

"Ring1  Cadence" : 2.25(.25/2);60(2/3.5)
"Ring Waveform" : Sinusoid
"Ring Frequency" : 50
"Ring Voltage" : 70
"FXS Port Impedance" :  270+750||150nF
"Caller ID Method" : Bellcore
"Caller ID FSK Standard" : bell  202.

In the SPA400 I changed only the
"Impedance:" 270+750||150nF

How can I configure the SPA400 correctly with the values for France ?

Thank you my friend

i'll give it a try and i will let you know if it works

i've tested over 10 different configurations without results

After a lot of days and testing different settings

I still can’t get CID working (SPA400)

The only setting that seemed to do something was

changing “Caller ID/CP Tone Method” to European (FSK)

it was displaying our lines number instead of anonymous caller

but then I get delay on first ring (line rings 4-5 times before it gets to the phones)

as I read Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) uses FSK for CID

Dear Sir;

Please ensure SPA400 is configured according to the following document.

/docs/DOC-9873

Regards;
Alberto

Dear Sir,

I can confirm that this doc settings did/do NOT work for France on France Telecom PSTN lines nor on the ISP Routers FXO port.

Thanks

Dear Sir;

Thanks for the highlight, will get the team to double check the values.

Regards
Alberto

Does anyone can Solve the problem for french caller ID ???

configuration : SPA400 - SPA9000 - SPA962...

Regards

Dear Sir;

With the BETA firmware France caller ID works with the proper configuration (ETSI FSK).

Regards;
Alberto

Dear Mr Montilla,

Thank you for your answer, but of couse, before ask you, I try the firmware 1.1.2.3, But I can't find the configuration "ETSI -FSK", there is "ETSI-DTMF" or "European (FSK)" (see file "Caller ID-CP Tone Methode List.jpg)

I join you my Voice parameter... If it's correct, is it possible than the problem come from the SPA9000 or the ip-phone (like SPA62 ?) ?

Regards,

Nicolas MERIAN

Dear Sir;

Please use European (FSK). Submit and reboot the unit.

Regards
Alberto

Mr Montilla,

Of course I already try with the "EuropeanFSK"... And It doesn't wwork.

How can I check if :

1. the SPA400 correctly receive the CallerID from FranceTelecom ?

2. the SPA9000 correctly receive the CallerID from the SPA400 ?

3. The SPA962 correclty receive the CallerID from the SPA9000 ?

Maybe the SPA400 is correctly configure, but the SPA9000 and/or the SPA962 aren't...

Regards,

Nicolas MERIAN

News : Apparently the SPA900 doesn't receive the CallerID from the SPA400 (see attachement : SPA9000 PBX Statuts during an incoming call)

Ce message a été modifié par: nmerian le 17 Septembre 2010

News 2 : I also send you the syslog of the SPA400 during an incoming call : Telephony, SIP and DSP, all information...

Mister Montilla ??

Can you check my configuration and tell me why it doesn't work please ??

regards,

Nicolas MERIAN
