SPA8000 Quick Call Transfer

I'm trying to keep it simple in a small office by using just the SPA8000. In order to transfer calls, you have to flash, dial *98 (default), then the entire number you want to transfer to and hang up. Is there a much faster way to do this? Are there any business phones compatible with the SPA8000 that have a shortcut to transferring calls? Or at least shortcuts for lines 1-8 instead of dialing the entire number? I can't have the secretary dial entire numbers many many times each day. Thanks in advance and I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this.

I called Cisco support and they haven't used a feature like that in a very long time. They said this unit is almost always used with a PBX server (I know that but I was trying to go the easy route without have to manage a PBX server). They said they will get a unit into the lab and see if they can make it work and let me know. I will post results to share knowledge.
