I am deploying a VoIP solution and I need to link the internal IP phones to a PSTN line. SPA8800 would be a perfect candidate for this.
However, I need the gateway to NOT pick up the line until an internal IP phone has answered the call, both because of costs to callers and because of other appliances on the line that might need to pick up the line if it goes unanswered. They cannot so far be transfered over VoIP.
In other words, the gateway should initiate a SIP call to an internal ring group and connect the PSTN only if the call is answered.
Is such a setting possible? This is the only information that is keeping me from completing the project.
Thank you in advance.
