Hi everybody,
The problem I have is: I can transfer calls from an analog phone connected to an ATA186 pressing the "R" key, however, if I connect the same phone to whatever UC's integrated FXS ports I only can transfer pressing the flash hook button, the "R" key does not work. Should I confgure the FXS port with any special command?.
Thanks!
Antonio Maciá.

Looks like the analog phone is doing a hookflash that is lasting 100 ms. The default minimum hookflash period that the voice port will recognize is 150 ms which you can tell from the debug output "Min=150" or from the CLI command-
UC520#sh voice port 0/0/0 | i fla
Hookflash-in Timing is set to max=1000 ms, min=150 ms
Hookflash-out Timing is set to 400 ms
UC520#
Try configuring the following under the FXS voice port and "shut/no shut" -
voice-port x/x/x
timing hookflash-in 95

What does the "R" key stand for on the analog phone?
Thanks,

It stands for "Recall", in our old PBX we used to transfer calls. It does the same function that the hook flash does when transfering calls, a softly on-hook signal to access to different modes of operation.

I forgot to ask, what's the symptom when you press the "R" key when the phone is connected to the FXS port on the UC500 - call drops or nothing?
Can you connect the analog phone to the FXS port of the UC500 and collect the following debugs-
debug voip ccapi inout
debug ephone detail mac-address
debug vpm signal
Pin up a call and press the "R" key. I suspect that we may need to tune the hookflash timers on the voice port.
Thanks,
Anthony

Solved!.
I changed the hookflash-in min value to 110 msec and it works. Configuring a value of 95msec did not work because the hookflash lasts 100msec > 95msec and the call was disconnected, but with 110 works fine.
Thanks!

Ah yes, my mistake! Glad you were able to get it working.
