We recently installed an ASA5505 in front of the UC520. I was tired of the limitations of the uc520. For some reason, the enable password stopped working. It has been the same password always. Also, when I go onto command line, the radius alive and dead messages keep appearing and I get a duplicate ip on BVI1 interface. Does anyone know why all these issues happend and how to fix them?

have you upgraded UC500 lately? if so what version from and to
you need to get rid of ip address conflict first. and see if the issue is still there.

Yes the unit was upgraded to the latest OS. It has the previous version of the OS. I am not sure why I am getting an ip conflict. The unit is set to 192.168.172.3 and no other device shares this ip. I suppose I can unplug it completely and try. Any idea why the enable password stopped working? It works occationally with the CCA but I have to keep entering it.

you must have T4 image now, and you did downgrad from latest M4 or M5 image. the issue is becuase T image and M image use different password enciption method.
you have to do 'password recovery' as the link describe.
