Hi all.
We have a UC520 with the optional T1\E1 card installed and an ISDN30 line attached. I have tried setting up the caller ID via CCA and CLI but I cannot get it to work. We have 20 DDI's available with 11 in use at the moment. The only number that appears on outgoing calls is the Caller ID Main PSTN number entered into CCA. I have tested the translation rules and they are working. I need to get this working so the telecom's company can bill the client based on DDI. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Here are the current translation rules:

You can only have one outgoing translation profile configured per dial peer. What you could do is modify the OUTGOING_TRANSLATION_PROFILE translation profile as follows:
voice translation-profile OUTGOING_TRANSLATION_PROFILE
translate called 1112
translate calling 10
This would keep your existing translation for the called number and add a translation for the calling number (caller ID).
Hope this helps.

It's not shown in your config, but I assume you have your tranlation profile applied to your dial peers? You might also check with the telco. It's possible that they are overwriting the caller ID that you're sending out with the billing telephone number.
Hope this helps.

Hi Brandon
Thanks for your reply. I had a look at the dial peers (see below for a few examples). Do I have to add translation-profile outgoing CALLER_ID_TRANSLATION-PROFILE to each of the dial peers in the ALL_T1E1 trunk group?
dial-peer voice 80 pots
trunkgroup ALL_T1E1
corlist outgoing call-national
description **CCA*UK*National Geographic - 11 digits**
translation-profile outgoing OUTGOING_TRANSLATION_PROFILE
preference 3
destination-pattern 90[123].........
forward-digits all
no sip-register
!
dial-peer voice 58 pots
trunkgroup ALL_T1E1
corlist outgoing call-toll-free
description **CCA*UK*International Toll Free**
translation-profile outgoing OUTGOING_TRANSLATION_PROFILE
preference 3
destination-pattern 900800T
forward-digits all
no sip-register
!
dial-peer voice 62 pots
trunkgroup ALL_T1E1
corlist outgoing call-toll-free
description **CCA*UK*Operator**
translation-profile outgoing OUTGOING_TRANSLATION_PROFILE
preference 3
destination-pattern 9100
forward-digits all
no sip-register

Hello,
If you are using CCA, I wanted to ask you if you can try CCA Configuration Drawer, then Telephony-> DialPlan --> Outgoing. There is a 'tab' for associating CLIDs with individual extensions, which are assigned DIDs. That may work, or at least the configuration it pushes can be used to examine the running config to see what it builds.
