We're running a UC540 at a customer, who's got 4 lines for incoming/outgoing calls. Out of their 6 employees, only 2 should pick up calls and hand them over to the others.
Now my question:
Is it possible to configure the UC to send out a busy tone to the caller if those 2 extensions are busy?

Sure -- add "huntstop channel" under the ephone-dn for those two users and disable call-forward busy. This will allow only one incoming call for each other those users and give a reorder tone for any more.
Be sure about what you are doing though... it is generally considered bad practice to return a busy tone... especially when it is unnecessary.

Hey Dan,
thanks for your answer. I'll give it a try at our "tryout"-system to be sure that I don't mess things up.
I fully agree with you regarding this to be bad pratice, but the customer wants it like this, and customer's king.
