Need SPA525G2 for remote phone (it is only phone that supports it). Need port 443 open to UC.
Configure phones at main office then ship out:
Connect SPA525G2 to UC
Use CCA: Home - Phone VPN SETUP Wizard.
It will be ready to connect from anywhere.

Hi John,
SSL VPN can be configred on the UC500. I don't believe it requires a license but I think you can have 8 active users.
If you're trying to configure it you can do this by going through CCA to Configure > Security > SSL VPN.
For better documentation go to this link(page 261):

I got a document from Cisco which outlines everything.
No license is required and its max 10 VPN connections SSL IPSEC etc
I will post the link soon for reference in the community.

Are you able to terminate the VPN on a Cisco ASA where the UC device is sitting behind it and use the SPA525G?

Yes, you should be able to.
