I have a UC560 installed on site which works great for all of our "normal" phones, however I am required to install a loud external ringer within a workshop at the other end of the site. There is only a fibre connection between the two buildings, no copper. There are IP phones installed within the workshop, but due to noise levels no one hears them ringing. looking for advice on the best way to set this up?

There are various way, one is that you install an ATA or VG202 at the end of the fiber, to which you connected one external ringer. Then one or more IP phones with a shared line to the ATA (SCCP).

I have seen customers in your situation buy a SPA8000 put it at the remote site, then connect a loud ringing device to it.
The SPA8000 has an ethernet connection and 8 FXS ports. Connect the SPA8000 to your switch, then plug in the amplified ringing device to the FXS port of the SPA8000. You can connect up to 8 of those devices if one is not loud enough.
