Problem: When the BE-3000 sends an email to a user with a voicemail attached the subject is "Message from Unknown sender (145)". Is there a way to change the subject line to show somehting else?

The From and To lines are correct.

Thanks in advance!

The Subject header should say "Message from (extension)".  Are you using SMTP server IMAP integration? Have you configured everything correctly on the user page?

Thanks

In this case the voicemail is from a caller on the PSTN, so it's external to the BE-3000. Is there a way to change the subject line for messages left from external callers?

We are using SMTP, which is configurred correctly. If a message is internal it does show who it came from.

Thanks.

Thanks for clarifying.

That is true, this is the Subject header sent when an external caller leaves voicemail.

Unfortunately, there is no configuration to change the Subject header of outgoing email.

Thanks

Are there any plans to have such a feature in an upcoming release?

Hi Tyler,

It is on the roadmap, however there is no committed release date for it.

Thanks
