Cisco SPA525 XML resync issue with $PSN macro

I have a problem using the XML resync method with the Cisco 525G.  The issue is that when the  phone executes my resync xml file it expands $PSN to 'SPA525G' and not '525G'.

Even stranger, when I issue the same resync command via URL (or add it to the profile rule manually)  it expands $PSN correctly to '525G'.

For example:

The phone calls the my XML app:

<CiscoIPPhoneExecute>
        <ExecuteItem URL="Resync:tftp://<ip_removed>/spa$PSN.cfg"/>
</CiscoIPPhoneExecute>

and the result is (syslog message from phone):

Message: SPA525G 00:24:97:f0:5d:9e -- Requesting resync tftp://  <ip_removed>:69/spaSPA525G.cfg\n

Notice the extra capital 'SPA'.

If I resync via url:

http://192.168.1.5/admin/resync?tftp://<ip_removed>/spa$PSN.cfg

the result is correct:

Message: SPA525G 00:24:97:f0:5d:9e -- Requesting resync tftp://  <ip_removed>:69/spa525G.cfg\n

I have my SPA504Gs calling the same XML application and they work correctly.

Am I missing something?

Dear Adam;

Sorry for the delay replying. I'll get this escalated as it looks like a defect (you are using the right macros). Meanwhile, can you please let us know the firmware version you are using? If not the latest I suggest you upgrade and try again.

Stay tuned.

Regards
Alberto

Please let me know the version number and this will get looked at.  Thanks.

My 525 is running v7.4.6.
