How can I make my uc520 dial to an outgoing line immedietly when someone dials in while night service is active? We have an overnight live answering service which we would like to have take the calls.
thanks

Hello Jesse,
A lot of details are missing but usually this is done with call forwarding to this number from the night service or if it is separate AA as an option in it.

Ok yeah good point. well I am using CCA to configure this and I have chosen the option telephony, Call handling, Night Service and set that up to forward the calls to a number. this works but the autoattendant has to go through it's routine first and you also have to press a button for this to activate.
The bottom line is I would rather the call just go direct to this forwarded number during night time without the auto attendant picking it up. Or if I have to have the auto attendant pickup, I would like it to be short and then forward the call on to the other number.
I've put some screenshots so you can see how it looks.
thanks

Hello Jesse,
You may create a separate AA for the night with the same prompt all the time and activate it during the night and in the repeat use 1 and in the option "no option transfer to" put the number you would like to forward to. Also there was one AA script which is only for call transferring which just say the prompt and then transfer.

Alex

Is this An aa script that plays a message And than transfers the call to an outside line with cca by default? what's it called? This method would work great
Thanks

Hello Jesse,
This could be set for script version 3 also for AA forward script.
Just set all the options for forwarding and "no option transfer to" to this number and set repeat to 1.

Alex

well I wish I could say I got it working but I still can't get the call to just directly forward to our night call answering service. Currently the same aa greeting plays during closed hours as it does during day hours, the only difference is that when someone presses a button the call does get forwarded to the night answering service. It's just that this requires to many options and I can't even get a different night greeting to play if I had to do things this way.
I need some guidance here.
thanks

Hello Jesse,
On the close hours tab you may select another prompt to be played.
If you are not sure how to do it you may just call the SBSC for faster resolution.
Best regards,
Alex
