Cisco 3015 VPN concentrator - exceeding max sessions

Hi,

Does anyone know what happens when an attempt is made to exceed the maximum number of simultaneous session on a 3015.

Does the 3015 reject the attempt and generate a log message?

Does the Cisco VPN Client display an error message?

Have looked on the Cisco web site but can't find anything.

Hi Phil,

its totally depends upon the amount of traffic you generate we have a VPN concentrator 3015 with 100 max remote VPN sessions and 3 site-to-site tunnels are configured.

as per the cisco's best practice you should not go more than 100.

i have no doubt in your question are talking about the device capacity or IP address limits ?
