Do you use AnyConnect profiles? This almost sounds like a permissions issue for your system accessing the profile xml file.

Thanks. Where is the profile xml file?
Could you write down what the steps are so that I could solve the problem?
Thanks
Michael

Path to the xml file is: C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile
Once you find the profile file, right click it and choose properties and then select security. Make sure that your user has read, write, and execute permissions.

Unfortunately this file Profile is missing in this folder.
How does it look like?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco

C:\ProgramData is a hidden folder. In Explorer you need to go to view and then check Hidden Items.
If the profile is missing it means that you are not using AnyConnect profiles.

Thanks. I have found the hidden folder, copied it into the folder "Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client", right clicked the xml file so as to set permissions (after pressing "security")
However the error remains the same, no progress.

Then I suggest you have a look at the following link. Hope it helps:

Mike,
Can you get the dart file?

If you can not. Please replicate the error and collect the output of anyconnect in the windows event viewer.
