Hi,
We are using a 2610XM as VPN-router, and having the following problem:
We can set up a VPN-connection with no problems. However, after a random connection-time, the connection is dropped with the message that the remote peer was no longer responding.
I've set all log-options in the Client to HIGH as to create a full report of what's going on between the client and the router.
One of the things I noticed in the log-file is the following line:
Marking IKE SA for deletion (I_Cookie=15DDEED64593386F R_Cookie=3AC15DFF680047ED) reason = DEL_REASON_PEER_NOT_RESPONDING
The router is equipped with 64 MB Memory and 32 MB FLASH.
IOS-image on the router is c2600-ik9s-mz.122-8.T8.bin.
VPN CLient is Cisco VPN Client 4.0.1
Does anyone have any idea as to what can solve this problem?
Regards,
Sebastiaan Brozius

First you will need to determine if the request reaches the peer or if the problem is caused by the response not reaching you. Putting a sniffer on the interface would help isolate the problem.

Well, the "fun"-part is, I get a connection, but the error occurs at random connection-times, but mostly a multiple of 10 minutes....
Sometime I get a connection for 40 minutes, other times for 10 minutes....
And each time, the posted error shows in the log at disconnect-time
