Cisco SMA M300V - Smart Licensing Error for DLC conversion

Dear users,

we migrated our license for SMA M300V last year in June to Smart Account Licensing. 2 weeks ago I found this error in the WebUI for Smart Licensing:

Device Led Conversion Status:  

Failed. Reason: Software Tag Not Mapped

I also got an email from the appliance with the following content:

The Warning message is:
You have 60 day(s) remaining to renew authorization of Smart Licenses.
Note: If Authorization expires the licenses will move to Authorization Expired state and
features will stop working.
      You can renew authorization in any one of the following ways:
         -- System Administration > Smart Software Licensing > Renew Authorization Now page in the web interface
         -- license_smart > renew_auth command in the CLI
Version: 14.2.0-224

When I start the "Renew Authentication" process, I got the same error. Can someone please help me?

Do you have smart License account :

Device Led Conversion- Look at the section to reserve the License and tag to your appliance.

Dear BB,

thanks for your answer. I'm sorry but I don't have the CLI commands available to enable License-Reservation. I opened a Cisco Case. Will keep you posted.

hi 

is this complete form of the error:

Info: The Device Led Conversion (DLC) process failed. Reason: Software Tag Not Mapped

if so this is related to CSCwc79229, it is not customer Visible 

Conditions: ESA running Async OS 14.2 with Smart Licensing enabled

Workaround: The alert can be safely ignored as long as the licenses show In Compliance.

on the other hand, please check the output of CLI >>  license_smart >> status ?  or check the license status in GUI and see if they are active and OK
