Hi,
we are currently implementing a Cisco S170 Web Security Appliance. Currently there are only a few test-users connected to this applicance but we have massive performance issues. Websurfing seems to be fast but downloads are very slow. When downloading a large file, for example, we get only 300kbit/s instead of 6Mbit/s without the appliance.
What could be the reason?
Kind regards

Hi
Thanks for reaching out, Can you please open a TAC case so we can further investigate. recently we have filed defect # https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuy64732 effect S170 performance running 9.0.1-162 build.
We will be able to verify it quickly once the TAC case open with the remote access enabled,
Thanks
Zack

Hi,
we are experiencing the same symtoms. The bug page says it is fixed, but how do I get this fix? Will there be an update available?
Thanks

answer from Cisco:
This performance defect fixed in next version patch 9.1.1 which should be published by the end of April , at time being you can follow workaround by increasing update interval/disable Sensor base / Disable reporting OR revert your appliance to lower version.

Hi,
did anyone get a fix yet?
It's been two month now and the webinterface still says no update available.
Thanks
