Need to configure separate shared line in Webex Calling

On the Webex Calling platform, we are wanting to configure a shared line extension that is separate from the primary extension of our users (and the primary extension of the other users of our organization). One of our Webex Calling customers also wants this functionality configured on their phones.

 

When we go to the devices that we want to add the separate shared line extension for in the Webex Control Hub, it only gives us the option to add an extension that is associated with another user or workspace for that location.

 

We had the ability to configure a shared line separate from the primary extension of the users of an organization on other Cisco call control platforms such as CUCM, CUCME, UC500 (discontinued), and Linksys One (discontinued).

 

Is there a way to configure a separate shared line extension (that is separate from the primary extensions of the users of an organization) on Webex Calling? If so, how do we configure this feature?

No, you'd have to add a dummy user for that purpose.
