Looking for a solution for a user to be able to remote call forward an extension with a new destination. We just recently migrated from CUCM via a hosted service and users were able to manipulate ext forwarding by having a second line appearance on their Cisco jabber...by selecting the second line they could then change where it was forwarding to. This was/is used for on call numbers that change regularly. Is there a way to do something like this in webex calling?

How do you select the "virtual line" from the device, or are you only assigning the virtual line and not the user's regular line to the device?
We use the virtual line as an internal on-call number and then forward it to the person that is on-call cell phone. However we've been having to do this as admin, because unlike CUCM we couldn't give them the option for the other exension.

Once you add the virtual line to the user as a configured line, they can then select it and use the *72 forwarding commands.

Their own extension's forwarding settings can be adjusted via the Webex app or via https://settings.webex.com/. Administrators may also change them via Control Hub.
How is that other extension configured? Does it have a known user/password so that you may login to the app/CUP?

Just in case someone else is also interested in this: By *72, the feature access code for call forwarding is meant. All FACs are listed at https://help.webex.com/0zgzwj/
