Join MS teams from Desk Pro on-prem registered

Hi,

I know Webex devices can join MS teams using multiple ways if registered on Webex cloud.

but what about when registered to CUCM.

how can I join MS teams?

does WebRTC work on devices registered on CUCM?

thinking about it, I need TMS to add the devices to it, them TMSXE to integrate with Exchange then forward the MS teams invite to the email associated to the device?

is this how it works? anything missing? any other method?

Yes, WebRTC works with on-prem reg as well. WebRTC traffic is always sourced directly from the endpoint; signaling and media will not flow through CUCM or Expressway.

At least until the manual join button is released (it has been delayed for months) your only option is One Button to Push. I don't know if TMS-XE ever implemented support for MSFT Teams Meetings but TMS end of life has been announced so, even if it works, that's a very short term solution. Webex Edge for Devices is the recommended path forward for on-prem calling customers; however, you could also look at VQ Conference Manager (not an endorsement) if you need an entirely on-prem solution (i.e. air gapped).
