No Network Connection issue on Cisco Room Navigator

In a conference room, the cisco codec plus is installed but the internet connection is not available. There was two options in the display of room navigator of which I selected bookings. Now, there is 'no network connection' error message is displayed in the top of navigator. Is this issue due to lack of internet connection? I was wondering if the system would work normally after connecting to the internet in the future. Also, in the current situation can we expect the system to perform any task even if there is not internet connection?

I found the following information that could be helpful for beginners.

1. the ciso codec plus needs internet connection to work and for the intitial setup process could not be completed without the internet connection.

2. there is a process for activation of the device after which you will get a 16 digit activation code which is essential during the intial setup process. Then, after activating the product you will be able to do the camera setup.

All in all, once all the requirements are met, the processes are quite intuitive and easy to perform.

the navigator can connect to the LAN or directly connected to the video device. I suspect the codec is not connecting to the internet correctly.

Internet is not available at the moment. Therefore, the codec is not connected to the internet but I was wondering if we could use the system, even if partially, without connecting the system to the internet.

If its cloud registered then, no, which sounds like is the case. The cloud services it needs to make calls / join meetings need internet transport to work. Sounds like you gotta give your network guys a call!

The system did not work, like you mentioned, without connecting to the internet and there was separate process of activation without which the system could not be used.
