How to Pin a specific Webex Contact at the top of the Page

Is it possible to Pin a specific Webex contact at the top of the chat list, always?

It is required for frequent messaging with that contact and need special check on that 1-1 chat space. So it needs to be kept at the top.

Hi there, 

I have a solution for this. Firstly, you need to add the respective contact to favorites. After that, you may select "Filter by" section shown in the red square. By clicking "Show Favorites on Top", you can see your favorite contacts on top. Hope this solution will be helpful for you.

Currently, we can't Pin a contact at the top of the Webex Desktop app always since that feature is not supported as of now.

However we can add our required contact/s on the top of the Chat list by adding them to Favourite.

To enable that, you can follow the below steps - 

1. Click on your Webex Desktop App Profile picture, and select the option 'Preferences'

2. It will open a separate window for you will multiple options/settings and select the option 'Messaging'

3. Under Messaging, select the option 'Show favourites on top' (screen shot is attached)

Close the Preferences window and come to actual Webex Desktop App.

Now we can go to a specific contact and right click on it and add it to 'Favourite'

Once the contact/s is/are added to Favourite, those will be fixed on the top of the Message list.

If there is only one contact selected as Favourite, then it'd be fixed there always for sure.

However, if multiple contacts are selected as Favourite, then those would be keep shuffling their position as per the latest messaging window.
