Hello,
When using the Annotation tool in version 40.10 of Webex on Windows while screen sharing, the tool will close if I 'double-click'. This is quite frustrating, as I'm not actually trying to double click, but rather I'm simply dotting an 'i'.
Is this expected, does anyone else notice this, is their a work-around?
Thanks,

I've documented this issue for Cisco and have been working with them for months trying to resolve it. They don't seem to understand the problem, even though I've sent them a screen shot video of the annotation tool functionality problem. The problem is very easy to reproduce, and I would think that would clearly identify a software bug. Cisco claims that the problem was finally fixed in the latest version which was released on 2/9/21 (version 41.2.4.15), but the problem persists. I've reported that, but they haven't yet responded. This seems to be an obvious software bug, as the problem occurs on multiple computers, multiple browsers, and for both the web-based and desktop applications. I note that the problem only occurs when sharing a screen or browser window. It does not occur when sharing an application or a whiteboard. Good luck!

I have the same problem. It makes the annotation tool unusable. I thought the issue may be the windows mouse double-click speed setting for a left mouse click, but changing that parameter has no effect on the problem. Did you resolve this issue?

Hello, @dbwoodside.
Unfortunately, I have not resolved this issue. I too tried changing the double-click speed - also to no avail. I'm wondering if there is a place that we can request changes to the software, as it appear the discussion forum is not moderated or reviewed by Cisco staff.
