Hi everyone,
In AireOS WLC, we used be modify the Wireless Option "Client Roaming" parameters for solving some client's roming problem.
But after migration to C9800 , the Wireless Option "Client Roaming" is gone .
My question is:
1/ Is there any function can alternate the "CCX Client Roaming " .
2/ the "Optimized Roamin" function is some way more likelyto weeding out the sticky client ?
Is it cause to wifi Interrupt ? when Client device is disassociated .
Regards,
Bill

- Have a review on the first section of this document :
I tend to interpret it as the setting is by default for the 9800

Hi Sir
Thank for you reply.
As you mention before , the parameter adjust is unavailable ( by default for the 9800 ) ;
And we will try another function to solving the Client-Roaming issue ( if it still happen on C9800 environment )
Regards,
Bill

Not 100% sure about CCX, but the only information I found about it in IOS XE was in 17.2 and newer: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-2/config-guide/b_wl_17_2_cg/aironet_extensions_ie__ccx_ie_advertise_ap_name.html
It's actually a legacy technology and has been replaced with various newer standards like 802.11k, r and v.
To number 2 on IOS XE, sadly no idea. Here is the configuration guide for 17.3 though: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-3/config-guide/b_wl_17_3_cg/m_smart_roam.html
