Cisco WAP150 Captive Portal for Guest Access

Hi Everyone,

I am configuring a guest account using the Captive Portal on the Cisco WAP150. have created local users on the AP and selected the option for 'local' database verification for user authentication. I have configured the instance, associate it to a Virtual AP (Guest) and enable the Captive Portal for user authentication before the user is granted access. Problem is, I get the IP address from my DHCP server (which is my Gateway) but cannot ping my gateway as a result I cannot browse the internet and the Captive Portal doesn't pop up the screen to put the credentials to verify the user on the local database. When I disable Captive Portal under 'Global Configuration' then I can ping my gateway and I'm able to browse the internet, but still no pop up screen to put credentials. Not sure what am I missing, would you please assist. thank you.
