Combine WAP321 with WAP561?

Is it possible to use the 321 and 561 wifi points together into this new Single point setup?

Hi Michiel, thank you for using our forum, my name is Luis I am part of the Small business Support community. If you are trying to connect your WAP561 with WAP321 through WDS, following the admin guide it is not possible due WDS only works with Cisco WAP121 and Cisco WAP321 devices, this is one of few guidelines you are able to find in the admin guide, please check this info in the link below, page 90.

Hello Mr. Breenen,

My collegue is correct WAP121 and WAP321 will only do WDS between themselves.

WAP121 ----WDS---- WAP121

WAP321 ----WDS---- WAP321

But you can also do

WAP551 ----WDS---- WAP551

WAP561 ----WDS---- WAP561

Yeah well, why cant they make 321 and 561 work together through single point setup? We have 4 of the 321's and wanted to put 2 extra WIFI points in our building and thought it would be best to do that with the 561, but if they dont co-op like that I guess we have to go for more 321's.
