Linksys wireless access point and 2600 Router

Has anyone configured this setup?  Is there a way to secure it?

What is the Access Point model so that we can provide you the wireless security options available for it. There should not be any particular, special configuration or compatibility issue to connect a 2600 series router to a Linksys AP.
