I recently purchased a RV160W and when trying to connect the router will not accept my PPPoE password because it contains special characters (%) is their a fix for this?

Make sure you have the latest firmware installed: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286316464/type/282465789/release/1.0.01.04

If that doesn't help then your best option is to get your service provider to change your password to something that works.

Otherwise you'll need to open a case with Cisco TAC.
